Nearly New Aero Premiere Highwayman size 44 - Dark Maple Bainbridge

Well, my dream jacket just isn't quite the right fit for me, so I'm putting my Aero Premiere Highwayman up for sale as a catch & release. I've worn it only a few times, it's always been stored on a wide hangar, and it's never seen smoke or water.

Regarding the Dark Maple Bainbridge, it really is an exquisite leather with amazing character and detail. I was initially concerned it might be a touch too shiny, but it really isn't when you actually see it. I've tried to photograph it as accurately as possible here, but I'd still say it's less shiny then the pictures show. When I order another custom jacket it's the leather I'd choose.

All in all, I was out over $1400 on this jacket that's still practically brand new. It's absolutely lovely, just not the fit for me unfortunately. I'd like to get $950 for it. so nice. What's your height and weight and you think it's too tight or too loose? Aero sizing so crazy. I'm a 40 in Sheene and this looks smaller than mine LOL.

It actually fits my frame quite well in terms of size (not too tight or loose) ... I'm 6'1" and 185#. The trouble is I have really angled trapezius muscles and Aeros seem to be made more for square shouldered gents. I really want it to work, but it tends to hang on my neck rather than my shoulders.

Re Aero sizing, I wear typically wear a 42 Long in jackets, and this 44 fits me well.

Wish I had known that before I went through the whole ordering process and fell in love with the jacket! Have you found other jackets fit you better?

I have 2 Vanson Oxfords one in blue bainbridge and one in comp leather that fit awesome, but it’s a little bit different styling than the highwayman. They both definitely fit better than the Aero original Hercules I have in maple bainbridge.

I also believe JL and thedi make good patterns but I haven’t any experience with them, or you can go all out and buy a Japanese brand.
