So I was thinking of ordering a dozen shirts (first time) basically the same cut, collar, and cuffs but different fabrics. Am I better off ordering one to get the sizing down and then ordering the rest? I am trusting th reviews I have read here that they are a quality product

I tend to go conservative with my clothes so basically white club collars and white rounded french cuffs with nothing special about the body just different hues and some simple patterns

My recommendation would be to order one first, just to make sure the fit is what you want.

The first shirt I ordered several years ago fit very well. However, just a little bit of "tweaking" resulted in a perfect fit. I have been exceptionally pleased with the shirts I've gotten over the years. Being a big person, finding a shirt that fits well is a difficult task - until I found Natty. Now, I wouldn't buy a dress shirt from anywhere else. I just wish they offered wool material and/or heavyweight fabrics for winter (outside work) wear.

I am guessing the key to a good fit is measuring. Am I better off measuring one of my dress shirts that fits well or doing a body measurement?

My first try shirt came in and I gotta say I like it. Nice material and construction none of those lose thread ends and the like that sometimes are left on. Everything is well made and clean. Fit is close I cut a couple inches off the waist and just a 1/2” of the sleeve for the remaining ones. Can’t wait for the balance of my order going to get another 1/2 dozen soon

I'm glad you are pleased. I've been a loyal customer since I first read of them here on the Fedora Lounge. My only regret is they weren't around when I was still working (a "paying job", that is). My need for dress shirts is not as great as it was before I retired. Still, it's nice to get two or three nice new "Sunday shirts" every year. As I rotate out my old shirts, I'll use them as work shirts. My usual work attire now is a pair of bib overalls and a slightly used Sunday shirt. Once I've got all the wear I can get out of the shirt, I'll save the buttons and cut the shirt up to tie up my tomato plants. I just can't say enough good things about Natty shirts!

I'm too lazy to read through this thread, so this question has probably been asked-- Does Natty carry any spearpoint collar shirts, other than the pink-striped one on their gallery?

I thought any fabric they have could be made with any option including any collar type they offer

One of the collar options is "classic", which i didn't know if it was spearpoint or not

I'm not sure, but I think somewhere back in this thread there was a discussion about spearpoint collars. I think there was someone who had asked (and got) a shirt with a spearpoint collar from Natty.

If you can see it in their gallery they would probably put it on any fabric you wanted

Did you try the build a shirt option? Was it a available choice?

This is what i meant by the "classic" collar comment. I'm not sure if this option in the build-a-shirt is actually spearpoint or just a narrowed collar you can still find in department stores
