Narrow Black Silk Bowtie

After my posting about the unavailability of what I wanted from Charleston Bows, one of the bartenders PM'd me with a link to an ebay sale with what appeared to be a narrow black silk bowtie. So I contacted the ebay seller for dimensions. Turns out the seller couldn't find the tie to measure it, and so had to cancel the auction.
Strike two.
A different bartender PM'd me with a link for Beau Ties Ltd.
The website was a bit hard to use, but when I e-mailed them I got a prompt response. It was suggested that I order a "Very Slim" self-tie bowtie in "Carbon Black".

I did, and a couple of weeks later (Christmas shipping delays, I assume) I received:

Just a bit over 1.5 inches wide, adjustable length (but the black adjuster is hard to see).
On me:

(please excuse the quality of the photos, as well as the fact that I did not bother to put on a waistcoat or jacket for the photos - I just wanted to finally get closure on my initial request)

So, third try was a charm! :eusa_clap

Hi Don,

I was searching in google for same style of bow tie, but it is very hard to find a store which is shipping available to my country.
Lucky I found 1 tailor here who can do hand made bow tie but she never make slim bow tie before.
Could you please help me to share a bit more detail about dimension and measurement of this bow tie; so i could provide for my tailor to remake it here.
I plan to wear it on my wedding this Oct.

Thank you very much.

Mine is adjustable length, but a total length of 32 inches works for my size 15 neck.
The ends of the tie are 1-1/2" wide, and they stay that width for 5 inches.
Then taper for the next two inches to a width of 3/4".
Both ends are the same.

I'll try to post a picture of the tie untied when I get a chance.

In the future, if there is specific requirement for a bow-tie, do let us know. We will be glad to you one to your specifications, using high quality silk-grosgrain or anything appropriate.

Thank you very much.
Your information help me a lot.
I really appreciate that.

Glad those numbers made sense. I guess you can see enough from the first photo I posted showing it un-tied to understand what the measurements were.
And please post a photo when you get your tie!
