Concerning Maureen: I read an account by, I think, one of the producers who said they went to a more concealing costume for her because she was a good Catholic girl and she was usually pregnant just when they needed to cast her as Jane. the Code probably came as a relief.

Name the actress & movie.

This film was one of the last to be shot in two color Technicolor.
When I first viewed it, I thought it had been “colorized”.
Further checking revealed otherwise.

Aside from Mr Obvious who is the lady next to him and name of film? Might raise a few eyebrows.

The lady has a long name but it’s Maria Langham. (Texas $ocialite)
The photo above doesn’t appear to be from any film that I know.
I believe this was taken at the “The Ambassador Hotel” 1935.

This is a screen shot from Starlit Days at the Lido, an experimental 3 strip technicolor musical short from 1935. Yes it is the Ambassador Hotel.
