Mystery Steerhide Aero Highwayman

Hi Everyone, was hoping on getting some help identifying the leather on a Aero Highwayman I picked up off ebay. I was expecting CXL Steerhide but it's definitely not CXL. I've never seen Connely leather so I'm not sure if that's what this is or if it's something else. The leather is thick with a soft hand, really supple, and the color is dyed all the way through.

The jacket is in like new shape I think the tag says it was made Jan of 2014 if that helps at all.

Why don't you ask Aero directly. I would send them the pics and I guess it's easy for them to identify the jacket.

Not Connelly hide I'm, afraid, I think they stopped using that 20 years ago. Looks like a nice jacket with virtually no wear, it may have been a present for someone who didn't like it or wrong size etc.
I have one with the same name, looks like Moira.
Your win :)

It really is leather Steerhide, have no doubt.
If you look at the description on ebay, then he pulls on 42 size.

I would ask Aero, CXL Steerhide will not have the hand, or the appearance your new jacket has. Whatever Steer it is, nice catch! :)

Thanks, I'll email Aero. It really is a nice jacket, a little to tight in the shoulders for me so it will probably end up in the for sale section along with another highwayman that I seem to have outgrown unfortunately.

Worth checking in with Aero. I have a feeling it might be one of the anniversary models they did to mark the 30th anniversary of the HWM in 2013? If not, it's very much like it.
