Ha! I had missed this thread before.
Very interesting thoughts. I am left handed as well and often considered, if getting a custom made jacket, moving the brest pocket on the right side.

I often use the breast pocket for eyeglasses (either prescription or shades), by the way.

I have a pair of sun-glasses just like Bogey's from the Big Sleep, and I typically stuff them in my breast pocket just behind my linen or scarf, it's a great place for them, and a nice little detail for those who notice. And let's be frank; Damnably useful! Hahahaaa! LOVE that Movie!
