My two Jimmy Pierce reworked hats

I just received my two hats that were reblocked and reworked by Jimmy Pierce in Texas ( www.jimmypiercedesigns.com ). I am VERY pleased, and would reccommend his work highly to anyone requiring hat reworking or a custom built hat.

The first one is a gray Beaver brand hat that I have had for over 15 years. It was a "western style fedora" that had a 3 1/8" brim. I cut it to 2 1/2" on the sides, and 2 3/4" front and back. The crown was always tapered...Not anymore! I don't have any "before" photos, but man, check out the "afters"!!!

Here's my Miller "Raider" hat, also suitably reworked by Mr. Pierce.

The "Indy" hat looks great-no taper!! I've got a bunch of hats that I can stretch
myself, but end up with a conehead look- that lid is super- will have to bite the bullet and send 'em out and stop beating the poor things up. Finally convinced me-thanks!!

I agree the hats look great. I too have given up the ghost and sent out six hats to be reworked. Two of them from Art which came back great and four to Duane. When in doubt give it to a professional.
