Hi girls... I thought some of you might like to see pics from the shower I had mentioned on the OB a while back... Diamonds are a girls best friend. It turned out pretty nice for an extremely limited budget! The thing I was disapointed in was that not very many people showed up. Oh well!
My mom does cakes and I had bought two house cake pans for my son's birthday cake. (Bear in the big blue house). I had her cut the roof off of a house and make it into a jewelry box. Then I stuffed a bunch of my jewels inside. Turned out pretty cute!
We had a vase full of "diamond chips" and the guests had to guess how many. I brought my Marilyn doll, and I rolled up "how to be a good wife" into scrolls with diamond rings around them. After reading, guests had to remember as many good wife tips as they could. They were cracking up!
Didn't think the gents would be too interested, so here you go!
By the way, it was hot and humid and my hair ended up in a clip that day!

. I also passed it out at work, we all had a laugh and the guys just loved it. But they didn't dare try to give it to there wives as they would have been thrown out on there arses lol
