My new eastman b-3

I wanted to buy a used Aero B-3 last time, but I wanted to buy an expensive new jacket.

It's Eastman Leather Type B-3 Seal Brown.

I bought it because I heard Eastman is good at Fedora Lounge.

I bought 177cm, 75kg, and 42 sizes.

The size is perfect, right?

They are raspy and awkward to use. Give me a Talon every time

Conmars fan here. They have the little more give on the pull. Works great with thicker leather too.

I believe he’s talking about repro #5 crown spring loaded zipper, which is what op’s jacket uses.

Although I don’t have issue with mine yet, from what I heard they’re indeed somewhat fragile, definitely not on par with your NOS #10 ones.
