I bought it because I wanted to be Tom Hardy after seeing the RAF Bomber Jacket from Cockpit USA that Tom Hardy wore recently. I am 177cm, 73kg and bought a size 40. Does the size look okay? Wool is very long and rich, so it's hot. I'm quite pleased. But the skin of the shoulders, back, and elbows is slightly cracked. I have attached a picture. Does anyone know about this phenomenon?

The sizing of the jacket looks good. I’m not sure about the “cracking” in the photo you posted. I’m no expert on leather.
It does look like a nice jacket; Tom Hardy would approve

Hey, little late but my wife’s Motolita developed those little micro cracks. You could keep it moisturized with Pecards, Vasoline, or even furniture polish.

But I don’t think it will negatively affect the jacket.

Nice jacket!

I agree with @thor and @Deacon211 ...the fit is spot on and conditioning it may be worth looking into. I personally use Lexol on most of my jackets and shoes. I try to regularly condition all my leather jackets about once a year. With any conditioner it's best to spot test it to make sure it won't permanently darken it.

You can always email Cockpit at info@cockpitusa.com to see what they think of those cracks and if that's normal/to be expected.
