i received my new Sheene from TB a little over a week ago.

here are the details:
size 42
brown FQHH
sleeve 27"
back 28"
extra 0.5" added to waist
interior pocket with a snap
olive stitching
tartan lining
yoke on back
6'3", 200 lbs

carrie at TB was pretty spot on with her assessment of my prior fit pics and the jacket feels pretty amazing when i wear it. the FQHH is already breaking down and it's getting more and more comfortable with each wear.

thanks to all TFLers who influenced this purchase!

Amazing! It it were MINE, I'd have more length in the sleeves, but really, that TB method seems to be working as this is another spot-on example of how things should fit! Well done, and congrats!!!

Awesome!
When I read the 28" length on a size 42, I thought 'oh no'.
But your pics show that it is spot on! You must be fairly long in the torso.
Looks great, now go beat the hell out of it.....

Outstanding acquisition. Your arms are even longer than mine as I need ~27.5" sleeves, minimum of 27". As a point of reference I am 1" shorter and 15 lbs. lighter than you.

Below is a picture of my size 42 Sheene just after I got it. I think my sleeves are 27.25" and a 27.25" back with 2" added to the circumference of the waist (1" added to each side panel). I had previously tried on a friend's Sheene with only 1" added to the circumference of the waist of his jacket that was an OK fit but decided on just a bit more room in the midsection. Anyhow, I think all aspects of your fit look great, including the sleeves.

For temps around 40 and above, my Sheene from Wade/Carrie has become my primary wear jacket also. You got a great fit. I don't think the sleeves are too short, but I wouldn't want them to be any shorter. Congratulations on a good purchase.

I missed this post - your jacket looks amazing, perfect fit. I remember seeing it on the Insurrection thread and wondering when you'd post pics. Damn, maybe I should have gotten a Sheene... ;)
