My Chippewa Boots

I was doing my usual thrift store treasure hunt one day last week when I stumbled upon these nice looking boots I never heard of before.

Chippewa. Only slightly rough looking. The bootbrush worked wonders.

For $19.99 each I figured it was a cheap gamble.

On the left are size 9, right 9-1/2. My Doc Martins, Chucks and Blundstones are all size 10 but if I wear thin socks in the Chippewas they're perfect.

I couldn't be happier.

I got a pair of steel toe Blundstones at the same time, same price. I have a sale pending on those.

And I had just spent plenty on a good pair second hand Blundstones the same morning.

Geez...I would wish to be so lucky to find something that nice for my Husband in that price range.

I have the same boot in brown. I took some Meltonian cream to mine and got a nice burgandy/brown hue and shine out of mine. They've been good to me and much more comfortable than the Redwing heritage line!

Those looks terrific! I wish I has a pair that looked like that.

I wore Chippewa boots, for years, as Paramedic. They protected my feet well while looking good. Those boots saved my toes more times than I can count.
