My 60th B- day

How about some help from the wonderful folks on the lounge,turning 60,9/28, wife wants to go away,she is pushing D.C.,I am on the fence about that one,I suggested a cabin for a week in Vermont,did not get a good response.Can not spring for big money,my daughter is getting married in march 2013 so you folks now what a chunk of money that is.How about some idea`s.Brian.

Consider Ocean City NJ, the town is quit that time of year. There are great restruants, plenty of antique shoppes, and you have the boardwalk with ocean view. However the town is dry, No alcohol.

I do drink, but I think it would be great to visit a dry town. It seems it would have a whole different dynamic than one that was loaded to the gills with drinking establishments and liquor stores.
