This is a Montecristi Calada in an Optimo form with "winged" brim. Size 7 1/8. Blocked by the experts at Montecristi Custom Hat Works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
The hat has shellacked to death, is not soft, and the shellac is easily seen in the delicate calada weave- like little windows if you will.
I would expect a hat like this to retail for $100.00 and wholesale for $50.00 or $60.00.
