I very much enjoyed this photo! I saw Rose many years ago at a music festival, I also saw Patsy Montana.
R.I.P. singer-songwriter Ed Bruce
I hadn't heard this. Thank you both for bringing this forward. One more reason to stay after the Tequila this Friday nightI think this song is appropriate to the occasion:
Bobbie Nelson, Willie Nelson's older sister & member of his band turned 90 yrs old on Jan 1, 2021.

Those Nelson's must come from good genes! She plays a piano with a distinctive style, a lot like Willie plays his guitar. She really shines on the older "Live" albums.
Either that or the reefer smoke keeps em going! Those Nelson's must come from good genes!
The voice of an Angel. No need in covering her hair but she can wear the hat.

Sorry, no hats, but this is so good I had to share! I need to use this trick around my house with incoming "hats".

I knew Ed back in the mid 70s when he and Patsy were managing a motel on Franklin Road in Nashville. There was a bar in the motel where Ed would play on the weekends. I think Patsy was the bartender. This was well before he became famous, but he was demanding with his music even back then. Looking back, I think that may have been because the motel was only a mile or so from Music Row, and Ed never knew who might be in the audience.
