Red Foley sporting a nice 'western' fedora.
Great pics Rusty! All 3 of you were looking good. Some people just have the good genes!I got to meet Mr Edwards a few years ago at Red Stegalls Cowboy Gathering. Both he and Mr. Stegall were very nice to visit with.
New interview with Dylan in NYT today, but this picture is probably a few years old because I don't think he's played guitar on tour for a while.
Judging from his recent pics from his 79th birthday I would say this pic is around 10 yrs old.this picture is probably a few years old because I don't think he's played guitar on tour for a while.
He does sets now where he hand carries two microphones & only plays his harp.Really? So, he's just singing now? That seems weird.

You may live long enough to someday see Keith Richards crooning love songs into a microphone in Vegas.I'd still buy a ticket and go.

In the pic above he's playing the Dusenberg. I can remember he played it a lot when he had Clapton on stage with him. I think he also played it a lot when he & Willie Nelson did a tour of mostly outdoor venues like ballparks, etc (2010-2012?).The last time I saw him a few years ago at The Greek Theater, he was playing keys/harmonica and singing.

Yea, even the Chicken Ranch ain't what it used to be.That would actually get me to Vegas.

And that's the Duesenberg guitar in the poster. Mellencamp wasn't with them the two times they came thru here. Pretty cool that you still have the poster!
a friend i used to be in a band w/ was part of willie's crew for many years.
he told me how on those tours bob would watch chow line w/ binoculars from his bus waiting for line to let up then show in a wig, hat and coat .. kinda' in disguise. my pal also told me if you ran across bob it was preferred you didn't speak to him ...
meanwhile willie-life on tour was the complete opposite w/ willie knowing everyone's name, hanging around often and such. once got to watch an entire willie show from monitor board, drinking bear and .. from 15ft from the man .. super fun evening.
as i'm sure you guys know well, those bob shows are hit or miss but man when you catch a good one it's seriously powerful .. The Bard
wow .. woulda' loved to have seen him with the heartbreakers ..
to your point, this one gives me chills ... dylan's totally engaged .. he's even f'n w/ band by the end.
and they're having a ball as well.
Yeah, well, those "chickens" aren't as young as they once were.Yea, even the Chicken Ranch ain't what it used to be.
I think we’ve seen this Bob’s hatband on another Bob’s hat.
