Osvaldo Fresedo y su Tipíca (Argentina) -- Como Usted (1930)
(Exactly Like You, Spanish version)
vocal by Teofilo Ibañez

Like many Argentine bandleaders of the period Osvaldo Fresedo was known more for his tango recordings

Unknown (Japan) -- Orange Blossom Time (c.1930)
vocal by Teiichi Futamura

Prewar Japanese jazz and dance band recordings are somewhat rare as most tend to be postwar. Most Japanese popular music from this period tended to be more in a traditional vein with most recordings of Western music being classical music. While we don't know who this excellent orchestra is, the vocalist is Teiichi Futamura (1900-1948) who was a well-known singer in prewar Japan.
