The Incredible Mr. Limpet is among my favorites.

On the subject of Don Knotts, I also liked The Reluctant Astronaut and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.

Me too! I need to get this for my son.
I have all the Disney films, Pixar, ect. RikiTikiTavi, LuneyTunes dvds, some older Betty Boop and Felix.

My son who is 2, mostly watches Thomas the Train and Bear in the Big Blue house, and Elmo.

HIS favorite, which he has watched a zillion times, is A Christmas Story. He is enamored. I don't know if it's Ralphie or what.. but he'll ask for it.

And most recently, Wizzard of Oz. I sat with him while we watched to be sure he didn't get spooked. He loved it! He'll go around saying "wicked witch in the SKY!", with a crazy smile on his face. He starts dancing like mad when the Munchkins come out. I think he's too young to "know" he is "supposed" to be afraid of the witch and monkeys.. and I make light of it too when they come on. He asks for wicked witch now, for like the 10th time this week.

I saw Grease in the theater with my dad when I was 6. I didn't remember anything about pregnancy, or the mooning scene, or anything else that was "above my head" then. It wasn't till I watched it much later that I "got" it. Which is how it should've been.. but nowadays these kids know much more than they should at younger and younger ages.

I'll tell you what movie I just bought and am getting RID OFF, Milo and Otis! It's HORRIBLE! Now I've watching many war films and such, with horses getting killed and what not, and you know the animals are cared for. This film was just terrible.. a crab pulling on a cat's mouth while he's meowing in pain.. or stuck down in a hole for hours so they could make him howl misserably. I could go on and on, but I didn't like how this cat was staged throughout the film at all. Besides, Duddly gets pretty OLD.

We don't have cable or an antenna btw. SO anything we watch is vhs or dvd.
