Not there, but I think he looks pretty good in the pic above from White Hunter, Black Heat.
You've made his day.

I think the only problem with Clint's look in the City Heat pic above is that his back hair is too long for the era (the movie is set in the Thirties, right?). For a working cowboy, perhaps that would be okay, but as a city cop, his hair would have been clipped a lot shorter than that. His hat looks great (in fact, both do), but the hair length is odd.Not there, but I think he looks pretty good in the pic above from White Hunter, Black Heat.
I agree he does wear it well, but don't count out the guys from the Wild BunchLee Marvin in the Professionals demonstrates how to wear a campaign hat. I wish I could pull it off.
+1This first one and third one might even be the same hat.
Yes, he will be missed. Always liked him.I just heard that Bill Paxton died yesterday at age 61 of complications from surgery. They are not saying what the surgery was for. I just hope it was something that was necessary & not something cosmetic that cost him his life. RIP.

Thanks Fruno. I read that later as well. Also read where he had a major surgery last yr but don't know if that involved his heart or not. It's just too bad. What I saw said he had complications during heart surgery and suffered a fatal stroke.
According to an article I read, yes it was heart surgery as well. Thanks Fruno. I read that later as well. Also read where he had a major surgery last yr but don't know if that involved his heart or not. It's just too bad.

A favorite of mine as well.Always like Vera Cruz fan of Burt Lancaster, Gary Cooper, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam and to have them in one great film well I can't ask for anything more
That marquis's getting too many teeth in that crocodile smile of his. I don't like it!
That topcoat-with-thin ribbon look (R.) is what convinced me to try my Stetson Royal De Luxe OR-lookalike with my single-breasted dress topcoat; and I found it works.Guys knew how to wear hats back in the day. I like the thin ribbons they're wearing in this 1947 film noir movie, "Out Of The Past". Check out the venting in the one hat.
