' The Bicycle Thief' (Ladri di biciclette) 1948.
Even though it was filmed in Old Tucson I just couldn't make it thru this one my first try.
I don't know anything about Dane DeHaan but he pulled off a pretty good Billy. He had that short dumpy look & his hat was perfect as seen in the famous pic of Billy with the Winchester. While watching it came to me that if a blockbuster movie of Billy was ever made (like Tombstone) Leonardo DiCaprio could probably pull off the perfect Billy.
The 34th rule of the Internet: If it exists, there's a porn version of it. If there isn't, there will be.

I thought of the age factor also. And I would prefer it to stay close to the legend of Billy as we know it to be. So no, I don't believe Brushy Bill Roberts was the real Billy the Kid & lived into the early 1950's.I suspect he's a little old for it now, but that kid in the photo aboved sures does look a lot like a younger Dicaprio. Maybe Lenny could play the older version?? (Wasn't there some plot twist in Young Guns where it turned out Billy was still alive or something?)
'Rustlers' Rhapsody' (1985)
Tom Berenger plays a kinda Buster Scruggs Sr.
