Public Enemies.
I love a lot of the lids that Humphrey Bogart wore, of course -- "Big Sleep," "Maltese Falcon," and "Casablanca." Including one that nobody ever mentions, the fedora he wears as Bette Davis's horse trainer in "Dark Victory." There's just something of the "I wear this hat for all occasions" about it, and one of these days I'm going to see about having a hat like it custom made.
I loved Tom Hanks' entire look, especially the hat, in Road to Perdition.
Indy was the first hat, I remember in a movie, that I thought was cool. Then all the film noir guys, the hard boiled detectives always seemed to have either indestructable hats or hats with a lot of character. I guess I'm a bit strange but most of my interest in hats came from reading those old detective stories.
One of my all time favorite movies, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford also has some great old lids.
Always dug on the two Hidalgo hats that Viggo Mortensen wore in the film.
Would really love to get the second one.
Cheers!
Dan
