Sleeping on a turquoise moon beam

Thanks to Miss Neecerie, I now have my coveted turquoise blue Moonbeam. It's the perfect match for my beach-themed bedroom. :D

I realized I've forgotten to post my clocks. I went a wee bit nuts and got three.

My Moonbeam is by my bed, on the nearest handy surface. This happens to be the basket of fabric for upcoming sewing projects.

The clock radio is on the dresser, by my sewing box.

This is my 1925 clock, and arguably my favorite. It's both deco and dainty. I love how it looks on my vanity table. There's no second hand whizzing around, so it's restful to look at. I also like the curved glass face.

Nice clocks all. I still haven't made the trip to Big Lots. Was planning on going on Saturday, but my folks had to take my Brother to the hospital early that morning.Maybe next weekend. [huh]

That 1925 clock is my favorite of the bunch. I wish I could find one. I've hit three area Big Lots but no radio clock and no 1925. We're going to be traveling next week so I think I'll map out some other Big Lots to hit.

My husband and I had the same problem, but we exchanged it, and tested the other one in stock before we left the store. Our new one works just fine. Those black ones seem to have a 50/50 shot on the alarm working....

Finally made the trek to Muskogee, just for the express purposes of visiting the big lots store. Bought 3, 2 for myself and 1 for my Mom. The selection in that store had been gone through, they had several of the green moonbeams and quite a few pinks. We bought 2 of the green ones, and one of the Athens' for my desk. Will post photo's later.

My 39 clock radio randomly developed problems with the radio, after only using it twice! I turned it on yesterday to listen to the game and now there's an annoying clicking sound over most of the AM range that doesn't occur on the other radio in my house. I am annoyed!

Big Lots here had two of the green moon beams yesterday. I only bought one of them, the other one had been opened and I thought it might have been returned to the store.

You might try it in another outlet and or another room. There might be some sort of outside interference that wasn't there when you first got it. Also, was the sound at regular intervals or was it random? Could be alot of things that caused it. I'm no expert, but I have had problems with electrical line noise interfering with my ham radios....which, as you probably know, use the shortwave or AM bands (different frequency's, but on the AM side).

Thanks. It was at regular intervals, about twice per second. As I said, it doesn't occur over all of the AM range.

Went to visit my Brother in the hospital yesterday, and stopped by Big Lots. They only had the pink and green moonbeams, if they had any other colors or models the had sold out. Here are my two.

The wooden silverware box it and the airplane cig lighter are on houses my straight razors.

No problem, sure hope it clears up. By it being regular, I would rule out a ham radio op sending morse code. Is it still acting up? It could've been a one time thing , if it was outside interference.

I know Tuesday Morning's!! They are kind of an upscale Big Lots. We have them here in CO, and I've seen them in CA.

Here's my clock:
