I have an RCA-Victor 811K with remote control and can attest that it will tune in the NBC, CBS, Mutual and even the Yankee Network!

Seriously, these senior series 1937-38 RCA radios are absolutely superb. They are extremely sensitive and selective, have decent fidelity and that wonderful electric-motor pushbutton tuning.

I got my first one, a 13-tube 813K from my grandfather in 1966 when I was 15. It is one of the best radios for DX-ing I've ever had.

Since then, I've added the 11-tube 811K and the 16-tube 816K to my collection. They are all outstanding performers.

If any of you have a chance to acquire one of these fine radios, go for it...you won't regret it.
