Hello Gentleman. I recently acquired this jacket and while I LOVE IT, I've come to the realization that I may have a couple too many jackets at this point. The jacket was handmade by Dave Sheeley (a top-tier maker in my view). I think its called "pre-war half-belt". I've worn it twice so it is essentially new and not broken in. I'd describe the leather as mid-weight. It is labeled a 44 but fits more like a 43. Personally, I wear a 43 Brooks Brothers sport jacket and I can get into most 42's (sometimes snug) and 44's (sometimes loose). I am 6 foot even and I weigh 185 with a medium build. This jacket fits me perfectly! I have additional pics if needed, so if you are interested please let me know. These babies sell for $1,275.00 and you'll likely have to wait awhile. This one is here and now and at a lower price.
