Men: George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp. I consider George Clooney a real movie star not just for his looks, but because he always manages to stay low profile yet still do charitable works, and he's an amazing actor. These things, along with his looks, go into making the bigger movie star package. Tom Hanks can play an amazing range of characters and still manage to come across as believable. Johnny Depp is a great actor who isn't afraid to be true to his family and himself and doesn't really care much what the general public thinks.

Women: Kate Winslet, Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Sarah Jessica Parker. All these women stay true to themselves and are very down to earth - they work for their families or because they are passionate about their craft. Again the whole package is made up from their looks, talent, classiness, etc.

My favorite modern actor is Crispin Glover. I think he's very talented. He dresses nicely too!

he isn't in many movies, but David Allen Grier could be considered a star if not movie related.

Jim Carrey. Hmm have to think of more female stars.

Jane Fonda, even if she was already a movie star. Angelina Jolie.

Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer.

What do you think makes a movie star? It's definitely not good looks and nice figures.
