Short of our recent LA heat wave, I’d find any excuse to wear that one year-round. Beautiful jacket. I am glad that I found this thread because I wasn’t aware that these were available locally. Thank you all!

I’m curious to know if the horsehide nubuck in the BR version patinates (first time in my life that I have used that word in a sentence) any differently. I am still more partial to the Mister Freedom version - the slash pockets and the little details around them look better to me, and are more useful.

I can tell you that, although the Mister Freedom Campus slash pockets with their arrow design are very cool (I’ve gotten tons of compliments on this), they are not anymore useful than cargo pockets. If you look at the Campus pictures, take note of how high up and back the pockets are placed. You’d have to really do the chicken wings with your arms to stick your hands into the pockets—it can be done, but it’s awkward. Today I used one of the slash pockets to stuff a small map into, and the other to hold a hotel key card. My hands won’t be going into them.

That did not occur to me, thank you. Now that I reimagine it as you describe the use of those pockets would be minimal for me as well. Too much chicken wing action required.

The short length is one of the reasons I got the Campus. The jacket is free-flowing and unencumbered, and I like how it wears as if it isn’t there, yet regulates body temperature so naturally.

And I think it looks darn good, and I’m just a mere beneficiary of its good looks.

Took a look, but they are out of size 40. I get the impression that it is a restock item, so I'll keep and eye out
