mint lock and co silk top hat

I've been looking for a hat to wear to the races and this one is perfect, just the preportions I've wanted. to find this mint for just under $300 is not a steal it's armed robbery. It's comming straight from Beeston, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, Royal Airmail. I will post pictures when I get it. The height is 6 3/4 inches and the US size is 7.

Great looking top hat, and in my size too! Don't know how I missed it. I have been looking for a real silk top hat in good condition.

6 & 3/4 sounds extreamly high... sure they measured it right?

If it is that height, then quite old. Looking at pic has some staining to the sweat, with that in mind often worth checking for moth holes/wear in the underbrim.

Get yourself a nice velvet pad and brim brush to keep in in good condition, brush after each use, and remember to store it upside down!

I am positive it is 6 3/4. I just like tall toppers alot more personally I won't wear any top hat under 6 1/4 inches high. I know in ascot most people wear 5 inches to 6 1/2 but once in awhile a taller one will pop up in the sea of top hats.
