Milanese cuffs. The most elegant and unusual cuff. I have seen exactly one place that advertises shirts with these cuffs. Expensive bloody shirts. Very little on Ask Andy. If you don't know what they are, go to the below link and scroll a little under halfway down and you'll see them.

http://www.listerouge-paris.com/styles/styles.php

If anyone has a cheaper way to get these, this here cheapskate is all ears.

Also known as turnback cuffs, portofino cuffs, and cocktail cuffs. Semi-recent thread on them here.

I had one that wasn't too expensive, from P. Diddy's "Sean John" line of clothing. Absolutely hated it.

I love that Listerouge site.

I wish I had a lead on a hong kong tailor I could execute some of those details.

So expensive....

Thanks Orgetorix (or should I call you OG now?). I did NOT know about the alternate names. That will give me more leads.
I just think they are so bloody elegant.

I don't know why they call that Milanese, as not only have I never seen it in Milan, I haven't even seen it offered by the major Milanese shirtmakers.

Eh, facts are such pesky things.

perhaps they were ONCE popular in Milan, or perhaps they are popular amongst Milanese in other parts of Italy, or perhaps a man surnamed milanese popularized them, or perhaps it's just a name the same way the Germans call cockroaches Frenchmen, or people call frites French fries, or ....

Anyway, thanks for the info. I looked on the other thread. Sorry they flapped some people to death. I now have sufficient info to decide whether I want them or not and to find them.
