Midnight Rambler gets Vertigo

Episode 2 of my Insomnia night:rage:

I am watching Jimmy Stewart and one of my faves (along with 99.8% of male FLers) Kim Novak. Yes it's Vertigo with the new print.

Now I know it was late and all ....but was Jimmy wearing a suit that looked to me like it was light plum colour :eusa_doh:?

Did my eyes lie? Please advise.

Next question . Kim did not have the world's best hair IMHO... but it always looked good up. Was it her Euro roots that made that look so good?

Vertigo is my favorite Jimmy Stewart performance. I recall his suit being brown.

I always thought Kim's blonde hair made her look older than her 25 years at the time of filming.

Vertigo is a near perfect film, and along with Maltese Falcon and Chinatown one of the three best detective movies Hollywood ever produced.

But, if you're seeing a plum-coloured suit, that new print may need to go back to the shop.

Light plum? hmmmmm... may be it was dark plum... I don't know, then again I haven't watched that film for some time so I couldn't really tell [huh]
