Mid-Western Sport Togs jacket

Hi guys,

Here are a few photos of a jacket that I picked up recently (for £18!) - sorry, they're not great photos, but hopefully they're clear enough.

I like the simplicity of the design, and it fits like a glove. I found a bit of info online about Mid-Western, and it looks like they tend to use deerskin. I'm guessing that it dates from the 1950s, but any more info regarding the date would be appreciated.

I'm wondering if this might be a nice jacket to make a repro of. Or is it too simple? Having worn it a lot since I got it, it's become a firm favourite.

I might make a pattern of it and see how it turns out!
