Yeah, people asking: Why are you diving that car in the rain?

. . . while buying gas in my '31 while it was raining:

Her: "What year is it?" (meaning the car)

Me: "It's a 1931 Ford."

Her: "You can actually DRIVE it when it rains?"

Me: "Sure, I can. What do you suppose they did in 1931 when it rained?"

Her: Puzzled look

I guess she figured they wrapped them in blankets so they wouldn't get cold. That was a "here's your sign" moment (for those who watch blue colar TV).

Hahahaha Good comeback! I have had some people ask me some really dumb ones. I'll tell you one.

I had just arrived to a swing dance and two of my friends were out side as I pulled up in front of the place. One asked me: So, is your car driving?
I said to her: No, I pushed it all the way here.
