Definitely get some wide whites. Just don't get them from Coker. Get them from Diamond Back Classic Radials. They are $20 per tire cheaper and wear like iron. At least they have for my truck.

Yes, people do love to read about old cars, but you should just come and see how many people come up to me at a gas station and ask about the car! I'm sure you get that too Michaelson! Vinage cars sure don't drive fast like new cars but, they sure get respect!

I always have to factor in a figure of at least 1/3 time longer on trips to town, as everyone wants to either talk to me about the car, OR tell me about THEIR Dad's or Granddads car that was JUST like mine. I've heard a lot of stories to date....Regards. Michaelson

Yeah, people asking: Why are you diving that car in the rain?

After my Mazda bit the dust, my P-15 is my only car and she goes great!

They usually do not say anything about the rain thing because it is a truck and most people think of a truck as a work vehicle---no matter how old.
All my cars are vintage as well so it makes sense that I will have one in the rain some time.
