Men rings - How to choose? What do you wear?

So this hallmark became like an itch to me that I had to scratch. I just felt the need to decode it. Here are my findings:

JX - Makers mark. It appears to have been made by Jewelex New York Ltd. See screen grab below.

Orb with Cross - Designation for platinum.

950 - Fineness in weight per 1000.

Castle - Edinburgh Scotland assay office mark.

O - Date mark for 2013.

Thanks again... I cross posted with you. Yes, my research shows the same and though I've not seen a stamp from Jewelex that looks like that on my ring, I don't find another maker using those letters. I did write to them with these photos but haven't had a reply. They seem to be a large company based in India with offices in many places, though not in Britain as far as I could see.

I’m wearing this ‘63 University of California, Berkeley ring today
