Back in high school, tradition dictated that the crew would get dressed up for the closing night of every major production. This was probably taken before closing night of The Wiz (a unique bit of retro in and of itself) which would explain the messed up tie. I think this is a pretty good representation of me being "dressed up" before I found out about this site. Expect some changes.. :D

cute

I don't know, that's the problem. I came here so all you folks could enlighten me on the the dimensions of the whatsit and how that thing should contrast with that other thing and compliment that thing over there. Okay, I have a real question; do my pants look too baggy? They're the only tailored pair I have, but they look too big in that picture.

I'm going to elaborate on that.

My only suggestion is to pull up the trousers to your navel -- they look as if they're hanging a few inches below your crotch. Maybe use suspenders instead of a belt? Keep the tie snug around your neck, too. I like everything about your outfit otherwise. The colour combination works well and the hat is cool.

The MEN of the LOUNGE thread was mainly created with the intent to show some dashing photos of the male members here for the ladies to swoon over, and for sexual equality with the LADIES of the LOUNGE thread. :D Usually we comment on other's outfits in "What are you wearing today?" or threads where a member specifically asks for advice. Don't worry about it though. :)

Now, back to your regularly scheduled vanity.

Not in vintage clothes

but maybe standing in front of a vintage airplane would suffice:

I guess it depends on what kind of look you are going for. To me it looks like the kinda working class thingy going on. I apologise, no offense meant here, I think it's a good thing.

My bf does this look particularly well - smart but not quite 'right' some how, trying, but not too hard. It suits him :)

I do like the well dressed gentlemen too though. It's a matter of personal taste.
