Canadian squirrels must be extra-friendly, because my sister moved there (to Red-something, about forty-five minutes north of Niagara.) a few years ago and she now has four squirrels as pets! She says they're the most fun she's ever had with any kind of pet. (She had a couple young, lost racoons for a while, but they got to feeling better and have been returned to the wild.)
