Okay, that is taking it a bit too far. Especially the eyebrows! But still the guy is entitled to wear whatever he wants. There's a fellow (term used loosely) in Austin (I believe his name is Leslie) who walks 6th Street in his heels, and usually little more than hot pants. It does warm the heart to know there are people uninhibited by the social morals... okay, at least you don't feel as bad making fn of them when they are hanging it out there like that.

Yeah, he's a rather old fella. We saw him shakin' it at the music festival a couple of months ago, and it really made my day.

Same here. Crusaders were the mascot at my grade school. Right after I left they changed the mascot to "all stars" because crusaders were violent, racist, and religious(it's a public school). I never had a problem with the crusaders and was pretty glad they at least waited until I left to change it to something lame and vague like all stars.

At risk of getting political, i would support the chang from an indian mascot. As for crusaders, probably just as well to move past that too. As for letting this kid pose as he wants, I am all for it and think the school needs to just chill

Here in Seattle, there used to be a guy who would walk around with a big broad sword over his sholder. Everyone called him Conan. Turns out he was a mater at some asian sword martial art and used to walk to the field he would practice in. years later, I think I hear about him getting shot by the police. One less bit of character for a city rapidly osing any character left.

As for the kid, I am starting to wonder if the principal is doing him a favor. he might just be saving him years worth of embarassment form his classmates, himself many years from now, and hs grandkids someday.
