Maybe the wrong place, but how do I shine the chrome on a 59 Kirby?

Just what the tagline says. Got a beaut of a 1959 Kirby from my Grandmother's estate. Functionally perfect, just washed the bags and cleaned her out. How do I make the outside rock and roll? I've got a dremel with some kind of polisher/buffer thing. Is that any help?

I'll second that.

I would try a polish called simuchrome and a rag...before i used anything as potentially finish removing as a dremel on it.....

Can be bought on amazon.com if you can't find it locally.

Buffing wheels can scratch. Simichrome polish is popular with the car show and custom motorcycle folks, where I first heard about it. You should be able to find it in most auto supply stores or motorcycle shops.
