This is the first image I saw when I went to this site. By Margarite Bourke-White.
Simply an amazing photograph! I had never seen this one before. The irony in this image is unbelievable.
Also the fact that the people carry themselves with grace and dignity in the midst of disaster is inspiring.

That is an amazing picture. Talk about being in the right place at the right time to capture such a classic image. Irony and dignity-her work is wonderful.

As for the Dylan Thomas pic;I think he actually pulls that look off well. I think it's because the patterns are all on a different scale. Or maybe it's just that I have no ability to match patterns. I'd wear it.
