One Too Many
I was thinking the other day that most of the music we associate with WW2 is upbeat stuff like Bugle Boy or Glenn Miller, and the occasional tear-jerker like Lili Marlene, but there seems to be no 'post-war' stuff that addresses the past conflict, unlike say the Vietnam war, which has countless country efforts about being 'still in Saigon' etc etc, and plenty of rock songs about the aftermath and its effect.
I don't know of any "still got them anzio blues" type stuff from the
50's...anybody else heard some?
