Is everything period correct? - No

We were trying to create as much of the feeling of World War II for those who came by and visited our encampment.

Prado Dam Regional Park in Chino California. Every October. It's a great event if you are into military history. They have everything from Roman Legions to modern day military types.

Nice, but is it really needed to put the website info on the side of the Jeep for displays? Couldn't a small handout or something aside do the same thing, if you're trying to show "daily life" for a GI and someone's website link shows up in their photos?
Also, it sure looks to me like said Jeep rolled into the spectator battle with the website magnetic sign on the Jeep even then? :eusa_doh:

I have to agree that, it was tacky. They should have removed the magnetic strip after driving into the park.
