The secret seems to be searching by title only. That same search turned up 12 results that way.

Manhattan unseen?

No, Tomasso, I did not order it sight unseen. I saw it when Art originally posted it and made a mental note to order one when I scratched up the change.

I really like Art's imaganitive approach to designing hats while remaining flexible for the buyers to make slight changes to reflect their individual taste. I asked him to lower the crown 1/4 inch and leave everything else the same.

You would not believe the looks my custom hats get here in Colorado, Weegee. Most folks wear western hats or baseball caps or no headwear.

Same here. This can't be right. I keep harping on this, but how do you guys do anything but the most simple searches in this forum? (Searching by title is not actually that useful, if you want to find the contents of a thread.)

The software, vBulletin, *should* permit full Boolean searches.

Google allows you to search within a domain. Just click "advanced" and put www.thefedoralounge.com in the domain field.

Something's not right. It ignores quotes, OR, AND, +.

to duplicate 81655- great hat,wonderfully soft, and has the old United Milliners
Caps and Hatters stamp, so I'm guessing 40's? Sharpetoys' off white hat is a
Manhattan? If so, could you tell me if I can get that hat in a charcoal grey?

Yes, you can get it in charcoal grey... The hat is a custom made one by Art Fawcett. Art is a member here.:eusa_clap Give him a call... The site has a few of his styles he can make any fedora style you want.
