Manhattan hat

My mom found me this one while I was at camp in Virginia. Does anybody know anything about it?

The brand is Manhattan.
it says "one of america's fine hats"
the size tag says "custom made"
It's black, with a black bound edge/
the hatpin is three flying birds

Could you show us some pictures so as to get an idea of the Manhattan logo? Are there any tags under the sweatband, like price tags or a serial number tag?
Little clues like that are a great help to those of us who may not know but will do the research to find out.
Sounds like a gem, can't wait to see it.

I'll get pics up soon, but the Manhattan logo looks very similar to the stetson logo, with the exceptopm pf ot javing a beaver on both sides of the crest.

I took some more pictures of the inside of the hat. Maybe someone will be able to tell what the heck this hat is. Probably some small maker that no one has heard of.
It says custom size 7. I'm a 7-1/4 and I can wear it. It fits like a large 7-1/8.

The whole getup is a winner. Love the tie; I have a few with similarities (the embroidered geometric design) which I favor. I also favor stingy brims. I wore a Cavanagh tonight with a 1 7/8" brim and that's as wide as I wear 'em. Looking good! Keep it up and the world will be a better looking place.

Thanks all. The jacket is a 5 dollar thrift shop find, I wore it to homecoming last year, along with the tie, and a different black hat.

I like the manhattan, but it's just a bit too small to really wear, and with the way it is, It'd look funny stretched I think.

I measured the dimensions.
Brim is 2-1/4 inches
crown bashed is 4-1/2 inches.
