Good deed you’re doing, Jim.So she's ours now, and we're working through the challenge of integrating her with our other dog, Jenna.

We found Mollie a few weeks ago in the neighborhood, and set about finding her owners or a home. Unchipped and untagged, posting on various shelter and lost pet websites, we had no luck, and all the shelters are full.

So painful when you say the last farewell to a loving, loyal faithful friend. We said farewell to our Birman cat, Khandi, earlier in the year. One of the surprise presents that Santa brought my wife, Tina, is a cherished memory of our beloved Khandi. It caused a tear, but through the tears, a smile of all the years she was with us. This is what Santa had in his sack for Tina:Well, it's my turn to join the it's-really-hard-to-lose-a-faithful-companion club. For fourteen years our beagle Ellie Mae shared our home and hearts. She loved to hunt, either with me or on her own, and energetically guarded our homeplace from rabbits, squirrels, and other various varmints. She helped our kids grow into responsible adults, lived to meet our three grandkids, and loved to go camping and walking with us. She was a spoiled but loveable part of our family, and we will miss her company.

I don't normally post such things, but obviously there's lots of folks here who I know will understand that I think she deserves a small tribute, at the very least.
The things she does for love!
Oh I can assure she was quite unhappy with this situation...
