Phineas your Eli upside down pix reminds me of how our dog spends most of her time. Here's Abby, a long haired dachshund.

Thanks Phineas, they were bread to tunnel after badgers but she just likes something soft. Thankfully she's not a digger. The pix was easy, she couldn't go anywhere :)

I'm with you Rob! I have another mini-Aussie & had one for almost 14 years. She was the smartest dog I've ever had or met. This one with the JRT effect is an outright mess!
I'm on my second heeler, and yes they will try to outsmart you everyday ALL day!
My current one only grew to be 25lbs and 14in high, so she's a miniature but not by breeding.
And yes she does try to outsmart not only her Bedlington sister, but my wife and I.
Since this is our second one, we know the patterns. :)
