Like ButteMT61, I think it's crazy this is still for sale. Great deal for somebody.

This is one of the jackets that Stuart makes in the traditional, tight period fit and is the first jacket I bought from Stuart, coincidentally in this very size.

Although 42 is my size and I have and have had several LW jackets in this size that fit me very well, I have to say that this jacket, when I got it, was way too tight and uncomfortable.

So tight and uncomfortable that I sent it back and sized up to a 44. Big mistake. The jacket never fit properly. Worse, for me, I started buying other LW jackets in 44. Not Stuart's fault. In the beginning he asked my weight and height (5'10", 180) and put me into size 42

I have finally just now traded out or sold all the 44's.

Bottom line: when buying a Lost Worlds A2, you have to be ready, willing and able to deal with the period correct fit.

Bump. Most people who have contacted me are worried about the jacket being too small, so allow me to clarify: this jacket would be PERFECT on a size 42. It would you a trim fit, not a tight or too small fit. I am a size 38/40 and I'd say I could pull this jacket off. It's definitely roomy on me and a size 40 would suit me a lot better, but if you are a 38/40 and you like a roomy fit this jacket could work for you. The knit band at the bottom of the jacket makes it a comfortable fit, even if the overall jacket is a size too big.

Amazing this is still here. I'd imagine this would be like a holy grail A-2 for somebody? Crazy. And it would still fit me perfectly... :(
