Actually the Gray is cashmere which gives it a nice look for business. I did not add the Denim blue it is also on the LW site. I think Stuart is saying he will do what he pleases and all of these have there on appeal.....but I do like the russet horse personally.

That first one there, wow. Is it some sort of suburban camouflage? Just lean against a pair of curtains or a sofa and *zip* you disappear.

Citation please? I missed the memo...

Jurgen Prochnow also missed the memo, as did most or all of the German submarine crews during WWII.

Irow, if I say it is ok to make pea coats of leather, it is ok. I do understand your initial response, though, and applaud your traditionalist thinking. Not only is it ok to make a peacoat of leather, I am going to get a LW 3.5 oz. as soon as I get my Johnson Leathers MC jacket broken in. That might be another year or so.

However, those aberrations posted by the Hog will cause him to be punished when he and I get together next year. And I know just how I am going to do it. Those things hurt my finely tuned peacoat vision. Sorta like a guitar player being out of tune by a whole step. PC.

I actually appreciate the Lost Worlds website. It's a refreshing change to see a business owner speaking, or printing, his mind. Too many people are afraid to say what they really think for fear of backlash nowadays. Lost Worlds makes a quality jacket and they know it. Being an American, I appreciate goods that are still American made AND still quality made.

Remember that line from "Field of dreams": if you build it, they will come.

Seems true of Lost Worlds.

To be fair, I was speaking strictly to the graphic design of said. I too appreciate when commercial enterprises show a little personality, and I wouldn't change one period of the content therein. And I really want that bush jacket...

Ah, I see. Photos never quite do these things justice, and I suspect people just use the two terms as interchangeable.

I have hear about Stuart attitude but he was really courteous and professional during our exchange.
Never say anything when I ask for his lightest leather, he just advises me to choose Goatskin since it is as heavy as his 3oz Horsehide but less stiff.

I'm finally home.

The peacoat is a true beauty, the craftsmanship is impeccable and the coat fit like a glove.

The goatskin is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

The peacoat is even lighter than my 30 HB in horsehide.

All in all I'm a happy camper!!!

I promise tomorrow to post some photos

Ok, I am looking forward to seeing it in goat! I know the Moosehide version looks cool on the site but haven't seen a 3 oz leather peacoat by LW on anyone.

Thanks in advance,

Wilbur
