Still looking for a new owner of this baby ! I lowered the price a bit.
FS: GRAIL Lost Worlds LEATHERTOGS Motorcycle Jacket, This is it the jacket of all jackets. I waited for this jacket for 8 months and it is nothing short of a work of art. I am making myself sell what I don't use, I have another Lost Worlds jacket that I have had for 9 years and it took me about 2 to break it in, they are the best in my opinion. I added all the bells and whistles, NOS Crown locking main Zipper and all other zippers are Crown as well. Tag says 42, but will fit a 40 or a 38, its a shortcut jacket like Buco J23, so it sits just at the waist if not slightly above depending on your build. I rode with it a few times, it needs 2 years steady use to break in, and I always just grab my Easy Rider instead. -- look at the pics, its perfect and the Leather is the best of the best... retail is 1650 before the zippers (+250) -- I will take 1400+ shipping and I think that's fair as I would say its 98% new.

From Lost Worlds site"To reproduce this one-of-a-kind American classic we use, of course, our magnificent 4.0 oz. Russet Horsehide. The Lining --"Time Machine" NOS heavyweight pure Rayon Satin per the original, dating from the 1940s. Nickel NOS Talon Zippers and genuine US-made Nickel over Brass Sam Browne Buckle. Riveted Belt Loops. US Nickel Scovill Snaps. Die-Cast Nickel Bars made for us in the UK accent the horizontal pocket edges. "

Dear God almighty, what a jacket. . . Even the hide looks better than the usual. Good luck selling this slice of heaven.

The PTP if it were 2 inches, maybe even just one I would pull the trigger on this! But at this price I dont want to play the well maybe I could pull that off, or maybe with a sweater under it. Good luck with this sale, its an epic jacket to be sure.

To help the seller, and maybe this won't help the seller... I'm interested in the jacket. But you are RIGHT in that sweet spot of JUST close enough to new jacket price that I might as well just order a new jacket and have it made to my measurements. Which is unfortunate because you are offering a discount and you're the one taking the financial hit. I think this is just one of those situations where the jacket is relatively new enough that you'd like to recoup most of your costs but doing so likely reduces the pool of potential buyers to those that fit these exact measurements, and would be ordering a new one had they not come across your jacket.

This is a long way of saying - You may have better luck selling on eBay due to a larger volume of potential customers. Really nice jacket.

I appreciate your thoughts - I have it up-- got a few offers from Japan- Id like to point out that it has an extra 250+ in Crown zippers -- and Lost Worlds makes to order and it takes some time.,, the jacket is a piece of art.. my other Lost Worlds I will never part with -- as long as I keep my weight in check. I am open to close offers -- but at a certain point .. well, Ill just keep it.

@ksozay is exactly right. This is so good. So beautiful. But at your price which is more than fair. It’s so close to just ordering from LW I’m not willing to risk the “well, maybe if...” factor. For a few hundred more I can make sure it’s spot on. I desperately do hope this fits someone here and we can see fit pics and hear all about it. I would always rather see things stay here in our little brotherhood of TFL members. In fact recently ksozay and I did just that. Traded a ton of stuff back and forth just to keep it within to those we know will love it. But I’d give it a week and if that person doesn’t show up. I’d try other ways of hitting your sweet spot. When it’s a 200 dollar jacket people are willing to take that chance, at this point as much as it’s totally worth your ask there’s not much wiggle room and would go for a custom. Seriously good luck it is a jacket as art.

If it's your size or close to your size, just get this one instead of order one from him, trust me.

Really beautiful looking jacket... GLWS!

I am beginning to think that my next jacket needs to be a LW jacket. I used to think they were some kind of urban legend based on how their website looks and reads, but lately I have been seeing more of their jackets than in the past and each one just looks like a masterpiece...

This jacket is indeed a piece of art! Don't overlook the crown zippers, they do make a difference.

@Pboggia , you certainly have your reason... but still I would really advise you to keep this jacket.

And to be perfectly clear, I have this jacket with crown zippers in size 44 due to be completed soon.

I'll be watching this @red devil ! I'm about to pull the trigger on this jacket, but I have some concerns about the sizing... Your jacket should offer some answers to that. When is it planed to arrive?

The scary bit is the 22.5" back. If it wasn't for that this jacket would be on me right now...

Wait, but the tape says... Oh, that's 24.5 WITH the collar? Damn, yeah, that wouldn't work. I've been going crazy over this jacket too and have been doing math but... Yeah. Never realized the collar was included in the measurement. That wouldn't fit me.

It's otherworldly beautiful, in any case. It's just... Endgame piece.

yeah, i think measured "correctly" the back is 22.5 and the arms around 26".
Everything other than the back length would work for me...
I want it, but 22.5 is just too short for me!

Originally for January, but I need to check if it is still on time. LW is generally pretty good with timing, but these are the more complicated patterns... so I think that I will actually get it on February

As you know, I'm not a tall guy, so I guess it 's ok with my built. But maybe you can ask Stuart to add a few inches ?

That's exactly what I asked for, mine should be about the same length as my J24 which you tried on at the London gathering :)
