Looking for a well broken in LW J-23 44R.
Looking for a well broken in LW J-23 44R.
Stu does not have a posted sizing chart or formula. When ordering, he has for two main things, height and weight. Old school but it works. RMC I am a size 46 on their j-24. By the way, When I described my weight and height to him, he recommended size 44. RMC runs 1.5 sizes too smaller than LW in my view.I have not tried on a LW jacket, but I do have other jackets that are 44, including a Real McCoy J-24 that fits well with room for a hoodie in the cool CA winters. Is the sizing formula on his web page? I'll look and see if I can find it. Thanks!
I contacted Stuart at LW, he was very helpful, asked my height and weight and said I was borderline between a 44 and a 46 (5'11" 210 lbs.), then he asked my waist size which is 34 and he recommended a 44R.Good to know one size up in the J23 is recommended!
Great that you called him and asked.I contacted Stuart at LW, he was very helpful, asked my height and weight and said I was borderline between a 44 and a 46 (5'11" 210 lbs.), then he asked my waist size which is 34 and he recommended a 44R.
Your measurements allow me to follow after you, buying your discards!Great that you called him and asked.
This sounds right, I'm 6' 1" tall and 16.5 34-35 dress shirt. Size 36 waist and ~ 195-200 lbs consistently. For that I am ideally a "44L" but a "46" or "46L" has also worked in his J23's.
Interestingly in an Easy Ryder I was a solid "42" and it fit perfectly. (Purchased second-hand through this forum).
