Lost Worlds Heavy Bison Trucker

I got this jacket last spring. I actually got two custom LW from the same owner. The second one is just hanging in the closet waiting for me to decide what to do with it. A third custom Bison LW from the same person just got re-sold, I just didn't have the money to buy it.

I decided to keep this jacket after wearing it during a cool spring. I thought it would just move on, but I kept going back to it.

Weighs about 6 pounds and feels very comfortable. I really like the snaps as they act like a double Zipper, letting the bottom open up. They really tighten it up around the waist when buttoned. Riding right on the belt.

It closes very nice with no buttons.

The Heavy Bison is Heavily grained.

I like LW's take on a jean jacket - albeit I find the chest pocket flaps to be a bit too large - and the leather looks spectacular but modifying a Type-3 with this kind of collar is a perfect example of a customer's idea that the maker absolutely had to flat out refuse to do.

That's one grainy mofo! Buffalo and bison are great leathers, full of character and hard as hell. The collar's interesting but as Monitor says, it's the sort of thing that Aero would just refuse to do. That said, overall the colour and grain carry the overall look off. Nice!

I have a video where I am massaging the pocket flaps trying to tame them! I did not like the collar at first either. Then I thought about a collar like the one used on my Test, but thought it would be too big.

I have no idea how this configuration came about. I've come to like it.

Certainly not a traditional trucker.

Regardless of how I feel about the collar, I just can't help but admire how perfectly they matched the panels by the size of grain. The sleeves, V detail under the pockets, panels at the back... All perfectly symmetrical. Really shows why LW is worth the money. Just fantastic.

"The Heavy Bison is Heavily grained." ...... Godzilla Grained!! Even larger than the horween black bison HB I had from SB a couple years back. Super heavy but surprisingly does break in softer than comparable steer/horse.

Yeah that Horween Bison SB stocked broke in wonderfully soft.

This LW jacket looks amazing, as pretty much every LW I see. I think the collar works nice too. Alan from JL made
himself a trucker with a similar collar. It adds some moto vibes to that trucker vibes, think it's a cool thing. Jacket fits great too, congratulations!

Nope, the colour's great - I had an A-2 roughly that colour and it just looked the biz.

Super jacket Terry. I’ve loved truckers my entire life. Being probably the same generation i know you understand.
Leather is even better. This hide is one of a kind. I love the way they matched the panels and i could get used to the collar no sweat.
This one you will not get lost in a crowd and that’s what it’s all about imho.
