Just Received my Lost Worlds Easy Ryder..........

What a sensational jacket. Not one stitch out of place!

Better workmanship can only be found in Eve!

The weight is sensational and the fit - well - a perfect 44.

No artificial aging here....... I'll leave that up to Time.

The only other unsolicited complements I've ever received are on my Lost Worlds B3.

Extra pocket requested - no problem!

Zippers are sensational!

The arms have a terrific taper that narrows to the wrist. Shoulder design affords terrific mobility without any pulling.

Lost Worlds ANJ-4 is next on my list!

Welcome to the Lounge. Please post pics when you are able!

From what I have seen here, Lost Worlds are very nice jackets. I like both the Ryder and the Suburban and hopefully will acquire one someday.

Did you have to pay extra for the pocket? Did you have to fill out the custom order form agreeing that your purchase was nonrefundable?

I've got the pics, just have to figure out how to get them on here......will work on it this evening.

The jacket comes with an inner pocket over the left breast. It has a snap. Lost Worlds added a zippered pocket over the right breast.

I did not pay any extra.

I gave my CC and felt no pain. The transaction could not have been smoother. Not sure if I consider this prepayment or not ( I think not given that it was a CC). I didn't bother filling out any forms (I did this though when I bought my first coat from them - the B3)

I didn't bother pestering Lost World's about when the jacket would arrive. There are many people in the cue and there's nothing special about me. It came roughly when Lost World's predicted it would. The timing could not have been better. I've retired the B3 as it's warmed up.

I also got my B3 fitted with an inner pocket behind the map pocket. The map pocket hides the stitching. For this I had to pre-pay (no CC - I sent a certified cheque). Very understandable. It might have been difficult to sell had I not liked it (or fit was wrong etc.). No problems encountered.

The inner pocket on the B3 was a terrific idea! In it's original condition, the B3 lacks functionality. Let's be practical here. We've all got wallet's and cell phones. The snapped inner pocket is all I need for my wallet (or what ever). This should be a standard (or a standard option), but I guess no one wants to insult those "purists".

Prior to getting the Easy Ryder, I looked at the usual competition - largely Aero. In my opinion - simply too many options on styles and leather types. Simply too many options to choose from without trying it on. At just under $1000 a pop, I see no reason to pay for a pre-aged jacket, or one where the finish will wear prematurely. Lost World's makes it easy. Black or brown and choose the weight of the fabric.

After getting the Easy Ryder, I've got no further use to look at the competition.

I'm certainly thinking about the Suburban, but love what's been done with the shoulders on the Easy Ryder. No restriction in shoulder movement! Given this is a motorcycle jacket, it's understandable.

The next purchase is a definite! Will have some fun debating a black Suburban vs. black ER vs. Black Buco Ryder.

More later...........

p.s. Convinced my LW's will last as close to a lifetime as possible. Not convinced on my Eastman Irvin ( real weird crinkled paper leather) will last all that long.
Only wish LW's made an Irvin (but that's no in the cards - I've asked)
